When the lights go off at the end of your day,
you need to trust that the samples in
your ultra-low freezer are secure.

CONFIDENCE MATTERS

Honestly, you shouldn’t be thinking about
your ultra-low freezer at all, that’s why
reliability matters. From the beginning,
we gathered the strongest minds, gave
them the strongest materials, and created
the industry’s most reliable ultra-low
freezer. At the end of your day and days
to come, how it’s made matters.

DESIGN MATTERS

The adversary of any ultra-low freezer
is heat. So we designed four levels
of containment between heat and
heartbreak. Our Heat Barrier System
is manufactured to minimize the entry
of heat and moisture, resulting in the
retention of cold air in the cabinet and
the reduction of troublesome frost.

Heavy-duty cast aluminum
single-handed door handle
with a hardened steel latch.

Three industrially
designed hinges ensure
the door securely seals
to prevent cold leaks.

Bulb gaskets provide a compact sealing surface preventing cold air leaks.

Heat entry, moisture, and frost are reduced by a
dual-blade gasket system.

Our insulated inner doors are structurally reinforced while remaining easy to
latch and easy to remove.

An energy-efficient Hot Gas Loop surrounds the advanced composite frame, resulting in a virtually
frost-free door frame that maintains a better seal, improves temperature uniformity, and minimizes interior frost formation.

Our units include industry-leading, vacuum-insulated panels in all cabinet walls and outer doors, providing superior insulation efficiency, lighter doors, and an 18% smaller footprint than traditionally insulated freezers.

COOLING
MATTERS

We went back to the drawing board to
look forward. We custom designed an
optimized refrigeration system that is
energy efficient, adaptable to changing
environmental conditions, and shields
the compressor, providing reliable
freezer performance.

Each model includes a
robust condenser, providing a
large cooling surface area
that improves low-stage performance even in the most demanding applications.

Maximum heat exchange is critical. Our split evaporator evenly cools the cabinet from top to bottom, and the evaporator coil spacing delivers excellent uniformity and fast temperature response.

Extra care is given to
hand-wrap each refrigeration coil, providing more surface area contact and resulting in excellent uniformity throughout the entire cabinet.

INTELLIGENCE MATTERS

Our ultra-low freezers are smart. The user-friendly i.C Information
Center provides intelligent diagnostic information and temperature
data, while providing security features to keep the information safe.
It consolidates everything you need to know about the status of your
freezer in one secure location.

At a glance, the System
Monitoring Console
provides
status information and
optimization settings for all
the ultra-low freezer systems.

The Information and Event Center combines a comprehensive event
log and an interactive temperature graph, providing detailed information to the user.

The event log displays the min./max. temperature of any selected event and offers on-screen corrective action, while the graph provides a visual representation of performance. All data can be downloaded via USB and used in a spreadsheet.

password protection and multiple security levels tailored to
individual requirements.
Integrated Access Control is
included on every unit, ensuring sample protection and integrity.

The Device Status Console delivers diagnostic support by displaying both current and historic status
of all probes on one screen.
Seven-day service graphs of each probe help take the guesswork
out of troubleshooting.

SERVICEABILITY MATTERS

Field technicians were included on our design team to help organize
the systems in our ultra-low freezers. This was essential to create
efficient service and maintenance procedures that reduce downtime
when standard troubleshooting becomes a service appointment.

All critical components are accessible through a series
of drop-down and removable
panels providing line of sight
to all serviceable systems.

The drop-down electrical panel
is located on the side of the
base for easy access and utilizes quick disconnect terminals
to aid service technicians when making repairs.

Tool accessibility is important.

provide adequate room to aid
in the repair and replacement
of serviceable components.

Service thermocouples have
been included and provide additional information beyond the i.C diagnostic tools to further pinpoint
a potential problem, leading to faster troubleshooting
and problem diagnosis.
